Each product is uploaded into the Micromart system with photos of its specific packaging. The store is equipped with AI-powered cameras that face inward and automatically detect which items customers remove by matching them to the stored images.
The AI cameras can recognize when a customer returns an item to the shelf. Customers are only charged for the products they remove and keep once the door closes, finalizing the purchase.
MicroMart FAQ
When using the Micromart Store for the first time, customers enter their phone number. After they finish shopping and close the door, they’ll get a text message with a link to their receipt. All items picked during the visit are combined into one transaction and shown on a single receipt.
Digital price tags on the shelves show current prices, and any discounts or specials are automatically updated to reflect sale prices. Plus, digital screens at the top of the cabinets highlight promotions with eye-catching animated ads to grab customer attention.
Each individual Smart Fridge, Freezer, or Pantry measures 79 inches high, 30 inches wide, and 38 inches deep. When combined into a full Micromart Smart Store setup with two Smart Fridges and one Pantry, the total footprint required is 90 inches wide by 38 inches deep.
